A Word from the Professionals
Charles W. Kelly Jr. Chairman, International Committee Former President Society of Broadcast Engineers Indianapolis, IN USA

"The Society of Broadcast Engineers is proud to be associated with BESPAK. There is upheaval in the broadcast engineering industry today, with fewer qualified engineers, more broadcast stations and an ever increasing pace of technological change. The programmes that BESPAK offers, including technical information, facilitating sharing of experience among engineers, and the BESPAK certification provide powerful tools to help today's broadcast engineers advance and prosper in the years to come. BESPAK, as well as SBE, and our other affiliated organizations around the globe provide a valuable service to the broadcast industry. We urge broadcast engineering professionals in Pakistan to support BESPAK, and get involved to advance their society".

"BESPAK is not only a Society, but it is an organization with highly intellectual and professional Engineers having a background knowledge and experience in Broadcast field. The digital technology was raised in multiple magnitudes. Now you can see that digital signal traveling at the speed of light, without any loss via Fiber optics cable, is one part of the field in communication of live streaming of audio/video signal to any part of the world under the sea & simultaneously via space satellite. What we dream today becomes reality tomorrow. The objective of BESPAK is to assist technical institution/ organization to develop infra structure for Broadcast Engineering. We have already formed a specialist group from members to assign the particular project, which will be designed in training of the particular area in the field of Broadcasting."

Dr. Shoaib Hasan Zaidi Chairman Electronics and Telecom, NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan |
"There has been a dramatic growth in the media industry in Pakistan.Network and telecommunications, automation of the movement of microphones and cameras, sound and light control and processing are all areas where mature skills are required. We are fortunate that BESPAK, through its outreach activities, is making our students aware of these opportunities. Their plans include seminars and workshops which will help prepare engineers for careers in broadcasting. Meeting and satisfying the technical requirements of broadcasting is a lucrative application of engineering knowledge. As our understanding of the technology matures, indigenous development is a natural progression. Such products command high prices and are an impetus for the creation of a local industry."

"I think that it can be a great tool to exchange ideas between the BE community in Pakistan. Having this kind of site is always useful as usually, being in the same country you will face similar issues at different times. Helping each other is always a plus and should be part of the regulation and ethics to be learned by students." |
